On 24 June 2025, second-year students (groups BAMP1-23, BAMP2-23) majoring in 026 Performing Arts at the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design (L.M. Somov's workshop) presented a vivid demonstration of acting skills in ‘Ukrainian Drama’!
The student actors demonstrated their interpretation of iconic works of Ukrainian drama to the audience, proving their high level of training, acting skills and deep understanding of the material. Among the plays presented were: ‘The Lie’ by Volodymyr Vynnychenko, ‘It Was Not Meant to Be’ by Mykhailo Starytsky, ‘Martin Borulia’ by Ivan Karpenko-Kary, “Cassandra” by Lesia Ukrainka, ‘Maklena Grasa’ by Mykola Kulish, ‘Natalka Poltavka’ by Ivan Kotlyarevsky, and many others. Each performance was full of sincere emotions and professionalism, for which the participants received sincere applause from the audience.
The show took place in auditorium 9-201 (the Kovcheg training laboratory), which has traditionally become the epicentre of creative events. We would like to thank the students for their excellent work, the teachers for their inspiration and support, and all the audience members for the warm atmosphere and sincere emotions! This day proved once again that Ukrainian drama is alive and inspiring new generations of actors!
