On July 15, 2025, the next organizational meeting of the participants of the ERASMUS+ INNOVATEX project “Innovation in Smart and Digital VET Skills for Advanced Textile Industry” was held. The meeting was attended by scientists from the National Research Institute of Textiles and Leather (Romania), Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, Kherson National Technical University (Ukraine), Technical University of Moldova, State Institution “Center for Excellence in Light Industry” (Moldova), University of Western Attica, Organization “Development of Creative Thinking” (Greece), Italian Center for Continuing Education (Italy).
The meeting was moderated by the project coordinator Mariia Raluca Aileni, an employee of the National Research Institute of Textiles and Leather (Romania).
The project participants summed up the results of the first stage of work, namely the activities to create smart laboratories on the basis of the institutions of KNUTD, KhNTU, TUM, and the State Enterprise "CSDvLP" and the survey of stakeholders from the textile and garment industry enterprises of Ukraine and Moldova to determine the needs of stakeholders in the training of qualified personnel.
Olena Gerasymenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Art and Fashion Design of the KNUTD, Larysa Ponomarenko, Acting Head of the Department of Educational and Scientific Work and International Activities of the KNTU (Ukraine), Marcela Irovan, Dean of the Faculty of Design of the Technical University of Moldova (Moldova) presented reports on the first stage of project implementation for discussion.
Coordinator Maria Raluca Aileni outlined the next steps in the project implementation, Ioannis Chronis, representative of University of Western Attica (Greece) defined the tasks of scientists from Greece to write a methodology for scientific research for the implementation of the educational complex, which is planned to be developed within the framework of the ERASMUS+ INNOVATEX project.
The meeting took place in a friendly and friendly atmosphere, the project participants reported on the completed stages and discussed strategic directions for further actions.
