We extend our congratulations to the researchers from the Department of Biotechnology, Leather and Fur, who have secured a victory for the fourth consecutive year in the competition under the State Targeted Scientific and Technical Program for Research in Antarctica for 2011-2025. Order No. 6-N, dated July 8, 2025, announcing the competition results, has been published on the official website of the State Institution "National Antarctic Center" (http://uac.gov.ua/pidsumki-konkursu-naukovix-proyektiv-2025/).

According to the order, the scientific project led by Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor Olga Iungin, titled "Investigation of the Potential for Isolating Biopolymeric Components of Biofilms from Microbial Communities of Endophytic Bacteria Associated with Antarctic Plants," was named the winner in the field of biological sciences (http://uac.gov.ua/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Perelik-peremozhciv-konkursu-naukovykh-proektiv-2025.pdf ).

The scientific research, as part of the agreement, will be conducted in the modern laboratories of the Department of Biotechnology, Leather and Fur.
