Social and emotional learning is a key component of smart education, promoting mental health, emotional intelligence, social skills, and emotion management practices among higher education students.

During the 2024-2025 academic year, scientific and pedagogical staff, together with 1st-4th year students of the Department of Smart Economics of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Modern Technologies, took part in a charity event «Kindness of Hearts. Mental Health».

In addition, SPS and higher education students from the Department of Smart Economics participated in a charitable event «Kindness of Hearts. Rehabilitation».

From June 30, 2025, to July 4, 2025, students of the Department of Smart Economy took part in a week-long training seminar entitled “Developing Youth Leadership Potential through Volunteer Activities: Volunteer Spirit.”

For fruitful cooperation, significant contribution to the implementation of social and emotional learning in the educational process, professionalism, innovative approach to the formation of emotional competence of higher education seekers, active participation in the creation of a safe and supportive educational environment, by Order No. 21/03-14 dated 21.04.2025. The State Scientific Institution “Institute for the Modernization of Educational Content” awarded Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine to the scientific and pedagogical staff of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Modern Technologies: Head of the Department of Smart Economy Anna OLESHKO – Doctor of Economics, Professor and Associate Professor of the Department of Smart Economy Olena BUDYAKOVA – Candidate of Economics, Associate Professor.
