On August 06, 2025, teachers of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies of the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design (KNUTD) took part in a working online meeting with colleagues from Germany: Juergen Raizner, Director of the German Technology Transfer Fund "Steinbeis" and Wolf Burger, Professor of the Cooperative State University of Baden-Württemberg (Stuttgart). On behalf of KNUTD, the meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Ihor Panasiuk, the Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department, Associate Professor Oleksiy Volyanyk, Professor Iryna Shvedchykova and Professor Borys Zlotenko from the Department of Computer Engineering and Electromechanics. The moderator of the event from the Ukrainian side was Professor Iryna Shvedchykova.

The “Steinbeis” Technology Transfer Fund has extensive experience in cooperation with European businesses, searches for the best locations for investment, and helps to reduce the distance between the appearance of an innovation and its implementation. During the working meeting, Juergen Raizner presented information on the activities of the “Steinbeis” Foundation aimed at supporting the scientific developments of university scientists, training and consulting staff.

The working meeting was held in a constructive and businesslike atmosphere. Ways of further cooperation were discussed, in particular, an agreement was reached on the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design and the Technology Transfer Fund "Steinbeis».
