On August 18, 2025, the staff of the Faculty of Design hospitably welcomed the first-year students. On behalf of the Acting Rector of the University, Oleksandra Olshanska, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, the Dean of the Faculty of Design, Kalyna Pashkevych, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, conveyed warm words of greeting to the first-year students, who wished them happy years of study, personal development, and acquisition of professional skills at KNUTD - a world-famous school of design and art.

The first-year students who chose the profession of designer and the educational programs of the Faculty of Design "Graphic Design", "Environmental Design", "Multimedia Design", "Fashion Design" entered the classrooms of KNUTD and became part of the friendly family of the Faculty of Design.

The heads of departments of the Faculty of Design Nataliia Chuprina, Doctor of Art History, Professor, Liliia Zhuravel-Zmeeva, Doctor of Philosophy, Olena Vasylieva, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, Danylo Kosenko, Candidate of Art History, Associate Professor, congratulated the first-year students, wished them inspiration, success in their studies, and an interesting and useful student life.

The first-year students met with the deputy deans for scientific and pedagogical work, Olena Gerasymenko, Doctor of Philosophy, Associate Professor, and Liudmyla Melnyk, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, as well as with the dean's office employees Victoria Lopatina, Valentyna Prytup, and Dariia Kushnir. The first-year students were told about the work of the dean's office, the modular environment of the educational process, the electronic journal, the rules for calculating scholarships, the work of the scientific and technical library of KNUTD, scientific circles, etc.

Oleksandr Vasyliev, Doctor of Philosophy, Deputy Dean for Educational Work of the Faculty of Design, told students about the rules of conduct at the university and the dormitory, about organizing communication with the dean's office, and introduced the curators of the first-year academic groups.

Viktoria Stepanets, head of the student government of the Faculty of Design, Sofiia Milich, head of the student trade union of the Faculty of Design, Daria Karpenko, head of the student government of KNUTD, Tetyana Sinkevich, head of the trade union of students of KNUTD, welcomed the first-year students and told about student life. Viktoria Stepanets introduced student curators from among the senior students who will help the first-year students adapt to studying at the university as quickly as possible.

We sincerely wish the first-year students good luck and inspiration, creativity and imagination! We wish them to study diligently, gain knowledge, and become true professionals in various fields of design!

We thank the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the opportunity to educate students, to provide the younger generation with education, and to acquire a profession for the rebuilding and development of our country!
