On August 19, 2025, at a meeting of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Design, reports were heard from postgraduate students of the faculty studying in the specialty "Design" under the educational and scientific program "Design". The postgraduate students presented the results of their work for the year, spoke about the progress of the implementation of the educational and scientific components of the educational and scientific program.
Members of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Design, supervisors of postgraduate students Kalyna Pashkevych, Dean of the Faculty of Design, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Tetyana Krotova, Doctor of Art History, Professor, Guarantor of the EP "Design", Nataliia Chuprina, Doctor of Art History, Professor, Olga Yezhova, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Rada Mykhaylova, Doctor of Art History, Professor, Danylo Kosenko, Candidate of Art History, Associate Professor, Olena Gerasymenko, Doctor of Philosophy, Associate Professor, Lyudmila Melnyk, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, Ruslan Ahliullin, Doctor of Philosophy, Olena Vasylieva, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, Ruslana Khynevych, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor and other scientific and pedagogical workers of the faculty listened to the reports of postgraduate students on the implementation of dissertation research, gave advice on how to better direct scientific research, on which aspects of art history research of various design objects should be emphasized.
Students of the third (educational and scientific) level of higher education presented the results of scientific research in various fields of environmental design, clothing, graphic, multimedia, and object design. Nadiia Lyuklian, Anastasiia Yukhymchuk, Olesia Skaskiv, Olegoslav Serbin, Natalia Ryshkevych, Oleksandr Lisovsky, Mykhailo Tverdy, Roman Khynevych, and others presented extended reports on their research. All postgraduate students have published articles in professional journals of Ukraine (category B), receive authorship certificates, and participate in international conferences.
The Faculty of Design of KNUTD has been training postgraduate students in the specialty 022 "Design" for many years, among which there are successfully defended dissertations by postgraduate students not only from Ukraine, but also from other countries of the world, for example, Iran, People’s Republic of China. The high level of training of scientific and pedagogical staff of the faculty makes it possible to carry out scientific research in various areas of design.
Training in the postgraduate program of KNUTD is effective, training is carried out both for KNUTD and for other educational institutions of Ukraine. Thus, in 2025, 4th-year postgraduate students successfully defended their dissertations: Valery Bulatov (teacher of the Ukrainian Humanitarian Institute), supervisor Natalia Chuprina, Doctor of Art History, Professor; Laura Ovakimyan (designer, stylist), supervisor Tatyana Krotova, Doctor of Art History, Professor; Mariia Vorobchuk (teacher of Lutsk National Technical University of Technology and Design), Tang Zhongyan (citizen of the People's Republic of China), supervisor Kalyna Pashkevych, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor.
All graduate students were certified, some were recommended to accelerate work on their dissertation.
