At Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, the academic year begins in August! The Acting Workshop of Vitalii Kino, senior lecturer at the Department of Performing Arts and Culture, has already actively joined the creative process! In keeping with the tradition of the Workshop, the second-year students is preparing for repeat performances in stage speech and acting, as well as beginning work on excerpts from Shakespeare's plays and the journalism of Ukrainian scholar and ethnographer Oleksa Voropay (this semester's creative programme, which was taken up by course instructors Vitaliy Kino and Daniil Kino). First-year students joined the Workshop in mid-August! They are already actively engaged in acting and speech training!

On 20 August, the 4th year students performed their graduation play ‘Coffee of First Dates’ based on a play by popular Ukrainian playwright Marina Smilianets for the first time this season on the stage of the Theatre on Mykhailivska Street.

The audience warmly welcomed the young actors' performance – they cried, laughed, and gratefully applauded our future graduates of the Department.

Of course, the first-year female students also attended the performance of their senior colleagues! They thoroughly enjoyed what they saw and eagerly shared their impressions! After meeting new friends, everyone took a photo together as a memento!

We wish all students of the Workshop and the entire Educational and Scientific Institute of Culture and Creative Industries of KNUTD a fruitful and creative academic year!
