On August 11, 2025, a solemn diploma awarding ceremony took place for the first graduates of the educational program “English Language: Translation in Business Communication” (Bachelor’s Degree) of the Department of Philology and Translation at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design.

Recent students of groups BAM-21, BZAM-21, and BDAM-21, now graduates and professional translators, gathered together with representatives of the Institute’s Dean’s Office and academic staff of the Department of Philology and Translation in the bright hall of the Institute of Law and Modern Technologies.

The graduates were addressed with parting words and warm wishes by Tetiana Vlasiuk, Director of the Institute of Law and Modern Technologies; Yelizaveta Isakova, Head of the Department of Philology and Translation; Maryna Vyshnevska, course curator and Associate Professor of the Department of Philology and Translation, as well as lecturers of the department and staff of the Dean’s Office. The graduates sincerely thanked their mentors for their professionalism, patience, the joy of communication, warmth, and humanity. Four years of studies for bachelor’s degree flew by rather quickly for our now colleagues in philology. The young specialists strive to work in the chosen profession and continue their education.  They have succeeded to climb the first rung of their life ladder, and now, to the sounds of the student anthem Gaudeamus, they are about to experience something new, challenging, exciting and thrilling – knowing that the doors of their Alma Mater will always remain open for them.
