Psychologically comfortable living conditions are not only an important factor for successful learning but also contribute to the harmonious development of personality. The dormitory atmosphere fosters a culture of coexistence and respect for others, while teaching young people responsibility for shared space. This environment serves as a true school of life, where students learn to negotiate, cooperate, distribute responsibilities, and support one another in difficult situations.
On September 4, 2025, the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Fashion, Natalia Ostapenko, together with the Deputy Dean for Educational Work, Alla Kolodyazhna, visited Dormitory № 2, where students of the Faculty reside. The meeting was organized in cooperation with the student self-government, which actively participated in preparing the event and helped identify the pressing issues that concern the residents of the dormitory.
“It is important that students not only study but also feel part of a large university family. It is here, in the dormitory, that responsibility for shared space and mutual support is fostered”, emphasized the Dean of the Faculty, Natalia Valentynivna, noting that caring for students involves not only academic success but also the creation of favorable conditions for their personal and social development.
During the visit, the Faculty administration, together with dormitory manager Kateryna Smetaniuk, inspected the living quarters, common areas, and shelters. Particular attention was given to the living conditions of first-year students and their adaptation to student life.
As a result of the visit, the commitment to further close cooperation between the Faculty administration, student self-government, and dormitory management was confirmed, with the aim of promptly addressing everyday issues and ensuring comfortable living conditions.
Regular visits to dormitories by Faculty heads are an integral part of the educational process at the University.
