A JOURNEY INTO THE WORLD OF PROFESSIONAL MARKETING: FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS AT KNUTD BEGIN THEIR PATH

The 2025–2026 academic year has officially started for first-year students of the D5 Marketing program. This year, over 100 talented, ambitious, and highly motivated students have joined Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, embarking on their exciting journey into the world of marketing. From the very first days, they have immersed themselves in an atmosphere of creativity, support, and professional growth.

During the initial weeks of study, a series of welcome events were organized for the newcomers — including meetings with faculty members, introductions to the university infrastructure, group mentors, and members of the student marketing club “M-Team.” All these activities aimed to help new students quickly adapt to university life, make friends, and feel like part of the large KNUTD family.

Academic staff of the Department of Marketing and Communication Design took an active part in welcoming the first-year students, including:

  • Olena Yevtseitseva, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor
  • Svitlana Bebko, Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor
  • Anna Orel, Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor
  • Kateryna Shikovets, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor
  • Halyna Kvita, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor
  • Yurii Horodetskyi, Senior Lecturer
  • Pavlo Shevchuk, Assistant
  • Diana Vdovychenko, Assistant

From the very first days, students received valuable advice, strong support, and motivation to take an active role in university life.

Group mentors Yurii Horodetskyi (BMR-1-25) and Pavlo Shevchuk (BCMR-1-25) introduced the students to key aspects of the educational process, including behavior rules, class schedules, and how the university’s administrative systems operate. Organizational matters and the main goals of the first academic year were also discussed. During these meetings, students eagerly shared their impressions, personal stories, future aspirations, and ideas for extracurricular activities.

Ahead of these students lies a wealth of new experiences — theoretical courses, practical assignments, engaging projects, and invaluable lessons that will become the foundation of their future professional careers in marketing.

We wish all our first-year students’ inspiration, vibrant emotions, and great academic success!
