The Faculty of Design of KNUTD traditionally pays great attention not only to the learning, but also to the educational process. The staff of Dean's Office actively cooperate with the students and heads of academic groups in order to create an effective and comfortable learning environment.
On September 4, 2025, a meeting of the heads of academic groups of the Faculty of Design was held. The initiators of the meeting were Kalyna Pashkevych, Dean of the Faculty of Design, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor; Oleksandr Vasyliev, Deputy Dean for Educational Work, Doctor of Philosophy.
The event was attended by the heads of academic groups of the bachelor's and master's level educational programs "Fashion Design", "Environmental Design", "Graphic Design", "Multimedia Design", "Design (by type)".
The meeting participants discussed the following topical issues: updating students' contact information, organizing the maintenance of academic group journals, maintaining academic discipline and attending classes, student participation in scientific, sports, cultural, social and patriotic activities of the university, maintaining cleanliness in the premises and in the adjacent territories of buildings and dormitories.
Aspects of student self-government were also discussed during the meeting. Viktoriia Stepanets, head of the student self-government of the Faculty of Design, spoke to the audience, emphasizing the importance of students' active civic position, cooperation with the administration, and initiative in implementing projects at the faculty level.
In addition, the event was attended by Daria Karpenko, head of the student government of KNUTD. Her presence emphasized the importance of a higher level of coordination of student representatives and contributed to the deepening of communication between the self-government structures of the university and the faculty.
The topic of psychological well-being of students was also raised: maintaining a friendly atmosphere in groups, as well as strict adherence to safety rules in conditions of air alarms.
The meeting was held in a constructive and open format, contributing to the establishment of effective communication between the faculty administration and student activity.
