RESULTS OF DISSERTATION DEFENCES BY POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF FASHION TECHNOLOGY IN 2025

Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design has once again confirmed its high research potential and significant contribution to the development of Ukraine’s educational and scientific space. In August-September 2025, postgraduate students of the Department of Fashion Technology successfully defended their PhD dissertations.

This year, the following postgraduate students presented their scientific achievements:

‒ 22 August 2025 – Oleksandr Ivanovych Bondar, dissertation topic: “Improvement of Methods for Developing Ergonomic Footwear under Mass Production Conditions”. Scientific supervisor – Nataliia Pervaya, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor. Chair – Viktor Lishchuk, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor;

‒ 27 August 2025 – Bohdan Vitaliyovych Naumenko, dissertation topic: “Improvement of Automated Design Technology for Cutting Patterns for Leather Goods Components”. Scientific supervisor – Viktor Chuprynka, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor. Chair – Nataliia Pervaya, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor;

‒ 01.09.2025 – Daryna Ruslanivna Leonova, dissertation topic: “Development of Technology for Manufacturing Shielding Knitted Materials against the Effects of Radio-Frequency Electromagnetic Radiation”. Scientific supervisor – Olena Kyzymchuk, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor. Chair – Liudmyla Halavska, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor.

The meetings of the specialised councils were held in a hybrid format. The defences were of a high standard, marked by thorough findings, innovative solutions and practical significance.

It was particularly emphasised that the dissertation research of postgraduate students of the Department of Fashion Technology is aimed at developing Ukraine’s light industry, creating new technologies and introducing innovations in line with the current challenges facing society.

Following discussions and voting by members of the specialised councils, a unanimous decision was made to award Oleksandr Bondar, Bohdan Naumenko and Daryna Leonova the academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the field of 182 Light Industry Technologies.

The KNUTD team sincerely congratulates young scientists on the successful defence of their dissertations! Their achievements are a significant contribution to strengthening the scientific potential of the University and the development of Ukraine!
