SCIENTIFIC AND PEDAGOGICAL INTERNSHIP FOR POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS IN THE EDUCATIONAL AND SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM “DESIGN”

The scientific and pedagogical internship for students at the educational and scientific level in the specialty 022 Design is an integral component of teacher training. For many years, postgraduate students of the Faculty of Design have carried out classroom and field sessions, master classes, and educational excursions in Design disciplines as part of their practice, thereby deepening the professional knowledge and skills of bachelor and master students.

On September 11, 2025, as part of the scientific and pedagogical internship, a lecture was delivered by Viacheslav Moskal, a postgraduate student of the Faculty of Design, specialty 022 Design (scientific supervisor – PhD, Associate Professor Liudmyla Melnyk). The lecture, in the discipline “Brand Design Concepts”, was given for bachelor students under the educational programs “Graphic Design”, “Fashion Design”, as well as students of other related programs.

The lecture aimed to expand students’ knowledge of the methods and skills involved in building a fashion brand, including developing a PR and marketing strategy, shaping brand identity, and creating a collection within a brand concept. The knowledge gained can be applied both to establishing one’s own brand and to promoting a client’s brand.

During the lecture on “Creating a Fashion Brand”, Viacheslav Moskal, who has worked at the fashion business development agency LBK Agency and the production studio LBK Production, shared his experience of collaborating with Ukrainian fashion brands. He spoke about the stages of developing and promoting a fashion clothing brand, the types of creative and technical content used in brand promotion, and the common mistakes brands make during their formation and operation.

The material on this topic was further reinforced during practical classes in the discipline, conducted by postgraduate student Viacheslav Moskal, Assistant Professor Nadia Liuklian (the Department of Art and Fashion Design), and Assistant Professor Anastasia Yukhymchuk (the Department of Art and Fashion Design), under the supervision of Professor Natalia Chuprina, Doctor of Art History and Head of the Department.
