On October 1 and 3, 2025, representatives of the Faculty of Design of KNUTD visited the “Ion Creangă” State Pedagogical University of Chisinau (Republic of Moldova).

Kalyna Pashkevych, Dean of the Faculty of Design, Olena Gerasymenko, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Design of KNUTD, as well as partners from Kherson National Technical University: Mariia Artemenko, First Vice-Rector, Larysa Ponomarenko, Director of the International Department, visited the partner institution with which KNUTD has more than 10 years of cooperation and friendship.

During the meeting, an exchange of experience, approaches to training designers, and future joint projects were discussed. Representatives of the Faculty of Design of KNUTD thanked the invited lecturers who repeatedly gave lectures to KNUTD students: Eugene Reabenyki, Head of the Department of Decorative and Applied Arts, and Stela Railean, Head of the Department of Art History, Graphics, and Teaching Methods the “Ion Creangă” State Pedagogical University of Chisinau.

Faculty teachers from the University of Moldova conducted a tour of the classrooms, creative workshops, and shared their experience and original teaching methods, conducting practical classes for designers.

The Faculty of Design of KNUTD and the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design of the “Ion Creangă” State Pedagogical University of Chisinau are connected by many years of cooperation. Students from Moldova have repeatedly participated in the International Competitions "Pecherski Kashtany", "Suzirya "Kashtan", organized by our university.

At the invitation of Ana Simak, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Kalyna Pashkevych, Dean of the Faculty of Design of the KNUTD, attended the celebrations marking the 85th anniversary of the founding of the “Ion Creangă” State Pedagogical University of Chisinau.

The university staff, led by the rector Alexandra Barbaneagra, presented the history of the university's development and numerous achievements in a solemn atmosphere. The event was attended by the Minister of the Ministry of Education and Research, representatives of the parliament, the state representative of UNICEF of the Republic of Moldova, etc.
