Holding events within the framework of the KNUTD Design Week has become a good tradition, which is gaining more and more visitors and supporters each time. The Faculty of Design of KNUTD for the fourth time joined the largest creative event of the year - the Ukrainian Design and Innovation Week (UDIW), which took place from September 29 to October 5, 2025 in Kyiv.

The Faculty of Design of KNUTD became the organizer of a number of informative events in various fields of design - faculty teachers and invited foreign lecturers held master classes and lectures for visitors to the Ukrainian Design and Innovation Week.

On September 29, 2025, Iryna Chubotina, Doctor of Philosophy, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Art and Fashion Design of KNUTD, opened the Design Week at KNUTD with a lecture "Men's Fashion on the Catwalk: Outsiders or Main Characters?".

On September 30, 2025, Ruslana Khynevych, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Multimedia Design, KNUTD, gave a lecture "Multimedia Design: From History to Modern Practices."

On October 1, 2025, Olga Yezhova, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Professor of the Department of Graphic Design of the KNUTD, gave a lecture "Reflection of Dynamics and Movement in Graphic Design: Means of Creating a Visual Illusion."

On October 3, 2025, Oleksandra Shmeliova-Nesterenko, Doctor of Philosophy, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Interior and Furniture Design of the KNUTD, gave a lecture “Design of the Environment of Modern Higher Education Institutions of the Arts”.

Also on October 3, 2025, a lecture was held by Kateryna Chrichlow, a guest lecturer from Birmingham City University (Great Britain), on the topic “Possibilities of Using Artificial Intelligence Programs in Design”.

The lectures attracted more than 500 visitors of the Ukrainian Design and Innovations Week, students and teachers from KNUTD, Khmelnytsky National University, Ivan Karpenko-Kary Kyiv National University of Theater, Film and Television, Odessa Technical Vocational College ONTU and other institutions of Ukraine and around the world.

The main event of the Ukrainian Design and Innovations Week was the largest exhibition and design market "DESIGN HALL", which was visited by teachers and students of the Faculty of Design.

Kalyna Pashkevych, Dean of the Faculty of Design, as well as heads of departments of the faculty Danylo Kosenko, Nataliia Chuprina, Liliia Zhuravel-Zmeeva, Olena Vasylieva, together with student designers, got acquainted with the exhibits of the exhibition, modern trends in design, innovative technologies.

A meeting was held with the organizers of the exhibition Design Hall, Anatoly and Kateryna Roskovshenko.

Participation in such high-level events provides an opportunity to popularize the educational potential of the university, conduct career guidance work, and be aware of current trends in the design market in Ukraine and around the world.
