Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design has joined the international initiative #ErasmusDays2025, which is implemented with the support of the Erasmus+ Programme Office of the European Commission and the National Erasmus+ Agencies in the participating countries.
As part of the initiative, the university has scheduled a series of educational and outreach events aimed at fostering international cooperation and promoting a grant-seeking culture within the academic community.
The #ErasmusDays2025 week at the university commenced with the workshop "Planning and Organizing Project and Grant Activities", which took place on October 14, 2025.
The speaker of the event was Dr. Nataliia Kholiavko, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Project Coach, and Head of the Project Activity Center at the National University "Chernihiv Polytechnic".
The event was moderated by Dr. Viktoriia Margasova, Doctor of Economics, Professor, and Director of the Office for International and Project Activities at KNUTD.
The workshop covered the key stages of developing an effective grant application — from clearly defining the problem and identifying the target audience to creating a timeline, calculating the budget, and designing a results monitoring system.
In her presentation, Nataliia Kholiavko highlighted common mistakes in the grant application process and provided practical recommendations for effectively identifying international donor programs both within and beyond the EU.
The workshop combined theoretical foundations with practical case studies, providing participants with effective tools for the successful implementation of international projects in the fields of education and science.
The presentation materials are available at the following link: Workshop Presentation.
We sincerely thank the speaker, Nataliia Kholiavko, for her valuable insights and practical advice!
