The Department of Applied Physics and Higher Mathematics continues to expand its research interests and attract new partners for collaboration. On August 25-27, young researcher and technician of the Department, Anastasia Tsverkunova, visited the new Azerbasalt plant in Ganja, Azerbaijan, where she learned about basalt processing technologies and the production of materials for 3D printing.
Since the beginning of September, Bohdan Novosad, a member of Group BNT-22, together with Anastasia Tsverkunova, has been acquiring practical skills in the activation of carbon particles at the R.E. Kavetsky Institute of Experimental Pathology, Oncology, and Radiobiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
The research partnership between the Department of Applied Physics and Higher Mathematics and the Department of Fashion Technology continues. Students from Group BNT-22, Viktoria Bobuta and Evelina Verchenko, conducted their research in the textile materials finishing laboratory under the supervision of postgraduate student Anna Vardanian.
The results of this research will serve as a foundation for selecting materials for future project development. The scientific component remains an integral part of the training of future specialists in applied physics and nanomaterials.
