On October 14, 2025, a meeting of the UAx platform members took place. The UAx Platform is an initiative founded by ELIA in 2022 with the support of the Abakanowicz Arts and Culture Charitable Foundation (AACCF). The platform unites Ukrainian art universities, providing support to students and teachers in difficult times of war.
KNUTD is an active participant in this community, which includes three areas of activity: the UAx Abakanowicz Fellowship scholarship program for 6 students of the KNUTD Faculty of Design, the UAx Sister Schools network, and a community of mutual support and professional development.
Under the leadership of the UAx platform managers Uliana Furiv and Dasha Logvynova, the plans for the UAx ELIA platform for the coming years were discussed and the results of the previous years were summarized. The meeting was extremely productive, as a number of topical issues were discussed and resolved, including support for artistic directions in educational institutions of Ukraine.

In addition to the representative of the KNUTD, the meetings in Geneva were attended by leaders of the Transcarpathian Academy of Arts, Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts, Lviv National Academy of Arts, Kherson National Technical University, National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, etc.
The participants of the ELIA Leadership Symposium 2025 were hospitably welcomed by the Geneva University of Arts and Design. The symposium offered a rich program of events, new experiences, and up-to-date knowledge in the fields of art and culture.

Master classes, lectures, and discussions were held, where participants from various institutions around the world shared their best practices in teaching students in art majors, discussed current issues in art education, modern trends, and conceptual directions.

During the meetings, a visit was made to the faculties of the Geneva University of Arts and Design, where students - future designers - create clothing, jewelry, watches, ceramics, study graphic and media design, interior and furniture design.

During the eventful days of the symposium, meetings were held with colleagues from KNUTD's partner institutions: the Oslo National Academy of Arts, the Estonian Academy of Arts, the Latvian Academy of Arts, and other institutions.

We sincerely thank the leadership of ELIA and the managers of the UAx ELIA - European League of Institutes of the Arts platform for supporting Ukrainian educational institutions!
