In October 2025, a vibrant fashion photo shoot was held at KNUTD, organized by students of the educational programs «Multimedia Design» and «Fashion Design» of the Faculty of Design KNUTD as part of the educational process. The event became an example of effective cooperation between young fashion designers and student photographers, which allowed the participants not only to present their own clothing collections, but also to immerse themselves in the real processes of the fashion industry.

Costumes for the images were created as part of laboratory work in the discipline "Form-making and clothing modeling" under the guidance of teachers of the Department of Art and Costume Design - Associate Professors Iryna Davydenko and Maryna Yatsenko, as well as assistant Anastasiia Yukhymchuk.

The students themselves acted as models, and the location for the shooting was the film photography training laboratory of the Department of Art and Fashion Design of the KNUTD. In the process of studying the discipline "Composition in Multimedia Design", the photo designer students got acquainted with the philosophy and aesthetics of the fashion photography genre, worked out preparation for the shooting, the basic techniques and specifics of photography, and the choice of poses and angles of the model.

Each frame emphasized the conceptual nature of the images and was the result of joint creativity - from stylization to lighting. The photo shoot was curated by Valery Skliarenko, senior lecturer at the Department of Multimedia Design, member of the Presidium of the National Union of Photographic Artists of Ukraine (NUPHU).

The project demonstrated how fashion photography can become a platform for dialogue between costume design and photography, as well as an important stage in the formation of the creative portfolio of future professionals.
