On October 15th, 2025 The Department of Performing Arts and Culture at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design successfully held a specialized master class as part of the educational component “Contemporary and Ballroom Dance” (instructor – Associate Professor of the Department of Performing Arts and Culture, Y.P. Taranenko).
The event was held with the participation of Nikita Stepanenko, a third-level (educational and scientific) higher education student majoring in Cultural Studies.
Students studying to become theater and film actors had the opportunity to thoroughly familiarize themselves with the distinctive features of the Latin American ballroom dance program. During the practical class, the basic elements and steps of the cha-cha-cha dance were practiced, which were later integrated into more complex dance combinations.
The practical work took place in an atmosphere of high concentration, professional enthusiasm, and active interaction. The knowledge and skills acquired are an important element in expanding the plastic expressiveness and stage skills of future specialists.
