On October 21-24, 2025, Chernivtsi National University named after Yuri Fedkovych hosted the II International Symposium “Art as a Cultural and Educational Brand: Problems and Priorities of Development,” which was held under the patronage of the National Commission of Ukraine for UNESCO.
The event, dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Yuri Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University and the 80th anniversary of the founding of UNESCO, brought together scientists, educators, and artists from Ukraine and abroad.

Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, which co-organized the symposium, was represented by Vera Burnazova, head of the Department of Performing Arts and Culture.

During plenary and sectional meetings, topics such as the interaction between art and education, innovative methods in music, theater, and visual arts education, the development of regional art brands, and the integration of creative industries into the cultural and educational space were discussed.

A special moment was the trip of the symposium participants to Vyzhnytsia, where a sectional meeting, master classes, and warm communication with artists from Bukovina took place at the Department of Decorative, Applied, and Fine Arts.

No less impressive were the tours of the Residence of the Metropolitans of Bukovina and Dalmatia, where specialists from the UNESCO site management center revealed the history of this architectural masterpiece, and the Vladimir Ivasyuk Museum, where we were given a tour by his sister, Oksana Ivasyuk. It was a profound and emotional encounter with the musical heritage of Bukovina.
