On 27 October 2025, students of the Faculty of Culture and Creative Industries of the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design took part in an important event dedicated to the Day of Writing and Language, which was held at the National Museum of Literature of Ukraine.

The event was eloquently titled ‘Language is a shield! Words are weapons!’ and emphasised the unbreakable power of the Ukrainian language. The students were accompanied and assisted in their preparations by Lyudmila Ardelian, Associate Professor of the Department of Performing Arts and Culture.

The focus was on inspirational poetry: students recited works by prominent Ukrainian poets: Taras Shevchenko, Serhiy Zhadan, and Lina Kostenko. In total, students from groups BAMP 1-22, BAMP(sk)n 1-23, BAMP 1-24, and BSM 1-25 were present.

A separate event was the presentation of original poems by Andriy Vechernykov, a 4th-year student of the BAMP1-22 group.

The students also went on two cool museum tours, where they learned more about Ukraine's rich literary heritage.

Taking part in these events together not only deepens their knowledge of Ukrainian culture and language, but also inspires creativity and highlights the importance of words in today's world!
