On October 23, 2025, on the initiative of the Kyiv City Employment Center and the Joint Stock Company “Ukrzaliznytsia,” a job fair “Career Opportunities” was organized at the Central Railway Station in Kyiv.

The purpose of the KNUTD team's participation in the event was to find out what vacancies employers offer, what competencies and professional qualities they expect, what working conditions and salary levels are provided for young specialists, in order to be more informed and adjust their own goals in education and professional development.

At the event, Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design was represented by a team of students majoring in G15 Modeling, Design, and Artistic Decoration of Light Industry Products, D2 Finance, Banking, and Insurance, D5 Marketing, and G2 Environmental Engineering, led by Tetiana Sinkevych, Director of the KNUTD Labor and Career Center.

The job fair brought together leading employers in the capital and became a platform for open dialogue between business, government agencies, and young people. Students had a great opportunity to talk directly with representatives of leading Ukrainian companies, including: Joint Stock Company Farmak, Private Joint Stock Company Kyiv Confectionery Factory Roshen, Joint Stock Company Ukrainian Railways, Idea Bank Joint Stock Company, Security Holding Limited Liability Company, and others.

Students actively communicated with company representatives and received a lot of useful information about employment opportunities. In particular, among the most interesting offers for finance students, Idea Bank offers a customer service manager position with a salary of 28,000 UAH and a flexible schedule, which allows students to combine work with study.

Farmak JSC has vacancies for an operator and packer with a salary starting at UAH 22,000 and the opportunity for professional growth in a well-known pharmaceutical company. Ukrainian Railways JSC offers a wide range of positions, from engineer without work experience (salary from UAH 12,000) to electronics engineer (salary from UAH 38,000).

The company TK – Home Textiles is looking for a designer with knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) systems with a salary starting at 20,000 UAH, and also offers a job for a seamstress with no experience.

This event was a great practical experience. Students not only learned about current job openings, but also gained a better understanding of the demands of today's job market. The initiative of young people and the support of the Career Center have once again proven that a successful future begins with taking active steps today.
