On November 4, 2025, postgraduate students of the Faculty of Design joined the training "Artificial Intelligence and Academic Integrity: How Not to Cross the Line of Permissibility?", organized by the Council of Young Scientists at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and youth organizations of the Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University.

The participants of the training were welcomed by Valentyna Yakubiv, First Vice-Rector of the Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University, Doctor of Economics, Professor, and Anastasiia Simakhova, Chairwoman of the Council of Young Scientists under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Doctor of Economics, Professor.

The training was moderated by: Taras Paska, Chairman of the Council for Research Work of Students, Postgraduate Students and Young Scientists of V Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University; Nataliia Kokhan, Chairman of the Commission on Ethics and Academic Integrity of Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University.

During the training, speakers Maksym Yatsyna, Tetyana Kornienko, Roman Dzumedzei, and Olga Gandera revealed ethical issues and regulatory requirements for the use of artificial intelligence in science, as well as modern mechanisms for interaction between scientists and artificial intelligence programs.

Separately, the speakers focused on artificial intelligence tools, and also considered aspects of checking the texts of scientific papers for the application of AI.


Graduate students of the Faculty of Design Pavlo Horny, Denys Tkachenko, Vyacheslav Moskal, Margarita Ivanova, Hanna Hryhorchuk, Anastasiia Yukhymchuk, Nadiia Lyuklyan and others listened to reports on the topics: "Normative aspect of the use of AI in education and science"; "Artificial intelligence in scientific research: between innovation and responsibility"; "AI in scientific works: how direct use is detected and assessed"; "Practical tools based on AI for researchers."


The event brought together over 1,000 participants, which confirms the relevance of the declared topics of the training for young scientists, graduate students, and researchers.
