On October 28, 2025, the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design held a meeting with the faculty administration, heads of departments, and first-year postgraduate students. The event was attended by Prof. Ihor Panasiuk, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Dean of the Faculty, Assoc. Prof. Oleksii Volianyk, PhD, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and Assoc. Prof. Dmytro Statsenko, PhD, Head of the Department of Computer Engineering and Electromechanics.

The meeting brought together postgraduate students who began their studies this year under the educational and scientific PhD training programs in the specialties F3 “Computer Science”, G3 “Electrical Engineering”, and G11 “Mechanical Engineering”, along with their academic supervisors.

During the meeting, the Dean welcomed the young researchers on the start of a new stage in their academic careers, outlined the main areas of activity of the faculty, research priorities, and emphasized the importance of academic integrity. The discussion also highlighted the postgraduate students’ responsibility for the quality and originality of their research, as well as the need for active participation in scientific conferences, publications, and international projects.

After the general session, the academic supervisors continued their work with postgraduate students in an individual format. The discussions focused on defining the main research directions, clarifying preliminary dissertation topics, developing the structure of upcoming studies, approaches to formulating scientific novelty, and determining the stages of individual training plans.

The meeting took place in a constructive and friendly atmosphere, fostering the formation of a community of young researchers at the faculty who are committed to high-quality scientific activity, innovation, and strengthening the research potential of the University.
