CAREER ORIENTATION EVENT: ONLINE PRESENTATION OF THE “DIGITAL ART” PROGRAM

On November 3, 2025, the Department of Digital Arts at the Faculty of Culture and Creative Industries, KNUTD, hosted an online presentation of the bachelor’s program “Digital Art” for 2nd-4th year students of the Dnipropetrovsk Professional Arts and Culture College (DOR). We extend our sincere thanks to Maksym Sopelkin, Head of the Departmental Cycle Commission “Design,” for his support and collaboration. The event was organized and moderated by Anastasiia Avula, PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Digital Arts.

The Digital Art program is designed to develop modern approaches in visual arts and is grounded in current scientific research. It combines traditional and digital artistic techniques, reflecting the latest trends in the field and preparing students for a professional career in visual arts. The program emphasizes creative thinking, perception, and imagination, enabling students to explore innovative artistic solutions while incorporating computer technologies in their work.

Graduates majoring in Visual Arts and Restoration can pursue careers in publishing, design studios, video game production, film, art galleries, museums, creative associations, and the entertainment industry. Career paths include concept artist, illustrator, environment artist, 2D/3D artist, designer of souvenir products, art consultant, and more.

During the presentation, Anastasiia Avula showcased student projects from the “Sculpting” and “Concept Art” courses, explaining in detail how the program is structured, its unique advantages, and the software tools used. She also provided information about the curriculum, general and professional courses, program duration, and entrance exams.

The event had a warm and welcoming atmosphere, allowing participants to ask questions about the “Digital Art” program, subjects, and the skills needed for admission.
