On November 12, 2025, the results of the IV All-Ukrainian Student Competition for Web Page Development “WEB-TECHNOLOGIES” were summed up. The Competition was organized by the Department of Computer Engineering and Electromechanics of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies at KNUTD and ran from October 10 to November 10, 2025. The Competition partners were SOFTSERVE, EPAM, and the sponsor company SURIKAT.UA.
The purpose of the Competition is to realize the creative potential of students in the IT industry and create conditions for strengthening and developing ties between the creative youth of Ukraine, the faculties and specialties of KNUTD and its colleges.
The Competition was attended by students from Khmelnytskyi National University, V. I. Vernadsky Tavrida National University, the State Tax University (Irpin), the Kyiv Professional College of Applied Sciences, as well as students from the KNUTD Faculties of Engineering and Information Technologies, Design, Arts and Fashion, and Economics and Management.
A total of 33 works were submitted to the Competition. After the Organizing Committee reviewed the applications, 13 projects were selected for evaluation by the jury. All works were assessed according to the following criteria: content, visual appeal, creativity, and originality of the applied IT technologies.

The winners of the Competition were determined by a professional and competent jury, which included the academic of KNUTD, namely: Ihor Panasiuk, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies; Dmytro Statsenko, Head of the Department of Computer Engineering and Electromechanics; Vladyslav Skidan, Head of the Department of Information and Computer Technologies; Liliya Zhuravel-Zmeieva, Head of the Department of Graphic Design; Olena Vasilyeva, Head of the Department of Multimedia Design; Yevheniya Romanyuk, Associate Professor of the Department of Computer Engineering and Electromechanics and Tetyana Astistova, Director of the Competition, Associate Professor of the Department of Computer Engineering and Electromechanics.
The winners of the Competition were determined based on the total scores calculated from the evaluation questionnaires completed by the jury members.
Based on the discussion and thorough evaluation of the Competition entries, the jury decided to award one first place, two second places, and three third places.

The work of the jury
On November 14, 2025, the winners of the Competition were awarded. The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies, Ihor Panasiuk, the Competition Director, Tetyana Astistova, and the director of the company SURIKAT-UA, Mykhailo Kucherenko, presented diplomas and gifts to the winners.
All participants of the Competition received certificates for their active participation and creative approach to developing web projects.

First place went to Oleksandr Myshchak and Yulia Golosnyak, students of Khmelnytskyi National University, for their project “EarthSaverAI”.

The event demonstrated the high level of students’ training, their creativity, and their desire for self-development in the field of modern information technologies. The “WEB-TECHNOLOGIES” Competition became not only a platform for presenting student projects, but also an opportunity for exchanging experience, inspiring new ideas, and strengthening professional ties between educational institutions across Ukraine.
