On November 11, 2026, a working meeting was held at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design between the university's scientific community and representatives of the business sector, including the Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (ULIE).

During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues of cooperation between scientists and representatives of business and industry. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of effectively utilizing the scientific potential of KNUTD to address key national challenges, support economic recovery, and implement innovative solutions in the real sector of the economy.

Oleksandra Olshanska, Acting Rector of KNUTD, emphasized the university's openness to expanding partnerships and highlighted the scientific community’s readiness to engage in the implementation of projects that are vital for the development of the state and industry.

Anatolii Kinakh, President of the ULIE and a seasoned, influential leader of Ukraine’s industrial community, outlined the key needs of the industrial sector. He emphasized that the university, with its strong scientific potential and active cooperation with business and industry representatives, is well-positioned to effectively contribute to addressing these challenges.

Representatives of the business community shared their vision of the role of university-led scientific research in addressing urgent issues on Ukraine’s national agenda. They also emphasized the potential for supporting and funding KNUTD’s scientific developments.

As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to pursue further collaboration, which will include joint scientific and innovation projects, the engagement of KNUTD researchers in addressing current industrial challenges, and the support of the university’s promising developments by business partners.
