On November 18, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design hosted a performance of stage speech entitled “Civic Lyrics.” The event was organized by third-year higher education students (group BAMP1-23), with the assistance of Alla Bineyeva, senior lecturer in stage speech, specialty 026 Stage Arts. The performance took place in the “Kovcheg” art space (room 9-102).

The theme of the show focused on works that reveal social responsibility, moral challenges, and the importance of civic engagement. The performers, dressed mainly in subdued, dark colors, created an atmosphere of deep reflection and drama on stage. The students presented stage compositions that combined artistic speech, movement, and minimalist scenography (the use of black space and simple elements).
Particular attention was paid to: clarity and expressiveness of speech (the transmission of complex civic and philosophical ideas required performers to have a high level of stage speech and diction skills); plastic ensemble (students effectively used space and collective mise-en-scène to enhance the emotional impact on the audience); dramatic monologue (the central monologues revealed the depth of inner experiences characteristic of civic poetry.

The performance of “Civic Lyrics” became an important part of the students' professional training, allowing them not only to practice their technical skills in stage speech, but also to deepen their understanding of socially significant literary material. The event emphasized that the KNUTD educational program trains not only highly qualified actors, but also conscious citizens who are able to use art as a tool for discussing important social issues.
