On 13 November 2025, a public lecture was given by Professor Ivo Safarik of the Biological Centre of the Czech Academy of Sciences. The topic of the lecture was “Magnetically responsive (nano) textiles and their applications”.

The lecture was held via Zoom and was attended by students and researchers involved in nanotechnology in the processing of textile materials. The conference was moderated by Maksym Teslyk, Associate Professor of the Department of Applied Physics and Higher Mathematics. The lecturer also presented publications co-authored with Professor Oleksandr Kovalchuk.

At the end of the lecture, the speaker outlined the prospects for using the proposed materials in the field of design. The issues highlighted by Ivo Safarik during the lecture became the subject of discussion on the prospects for joint interdepartmental projects.
