PARTICIPATION OF THE OFFICE FOR INTERNATIONAL AND PROJECT ACTIVITIES OF KNUTD IN IP LET FORUM 2025

On November 27, 2025, the 4th National Forum on Intellectual Property and Innovation titled "Intellectual Property: Law, Economy, Technology" was held in Kyiv. It is one of the largest annual events in Ukraine in the field of intellectual property.

The forum was organized by the Ukrainian National Office for Intellectual Property and Innovation (UANIPIO) under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine, in cooperation with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).

The event brought together international experts, representatives of government agencies, businesses, universities, innovative companies, and the creative industries.

Participants of the forum discussed ways to integrate Ukrainian enterprises into the European and international intellectual property (IP) landscape.

The Office for International and Project Activities of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design took part in the forum, represented by Viktoriia Margasova, Anna Orel, Nataliia Husarevych, and Nataliia Fastovets.

The office representatives participated in thematic sessions, panel discussions, and specialized workshops, representing the university community in both national and international IP dialogue.

The specialized workshops, discussion panels, and professional sessions organized within the framework of IP LET Forum 2025 provided opportunities to expand professional networks, gain new knowledge about modern practices in intellectual property protection and management, and access up-to-date information and expert solutions in the fields of innovation activity and commercialization of creative and technological projects.

Forum participants emphasized the crucial role of intellectual property as a driver of economic growth and business competitiveness.

Experts from various sectors of Ukraine’s economy shared insights into modern tools for IP commercialization, outlined current practices in intangible asset management, discussed mechanisms for developing innovation ecosystems across different entrepreneurial sectors, and presented tools for protecting intellectual property.

It is worth noting that this topic holds particular importance for KNUTD, as the university actively fosters the development of a startup culture, entrepreneurship, and innovative solutions among its students and researchers..

Particular attention was given to specialized workshops for representatives of the Technology and Innovation Support Centers (TISC) network.

It is important to note that the workshops organized within the framework of the forum had high practical value and were aimed at enhancing awareness in working with innovative products, copyright protection, and IP asset management.

The participation of KNUTD representatives in the forum is an important step in strengthening the university’s role on the global IP map.
