On November 14, 2025, teachers and students of the Department of Graphic Design of the KNUTD participated in the master class "CONTEMPORARY PRINTED GRAPHICS", at which the famous artist Tetiana Kuhai introduced the participants to her creative achievements and shared her experience in creating engravings on linoleum.

At the master class, young graphic artists learned how to properly work with tools and create detailed, expressive paintings. The knowledge gained will contribute to the development of students' creative abilities, inspire and improve professional skills.

During the master class, students of the Department of Graphic Design and scientific and pedagogical staff Oksana Maznichenko, associate professor; Sviatoslav Podlevskyi, candidate of historical sciences, associate professor; Alla Osadcha, senior lecturer discussed the topic of combining artistic knowledge with practical skills in letterpress printing.

This creative event became a real journey into the world of art, where students of the EP “Graphic Design” learned more about the features of graphic techniques and the process of making prints, got acquainted with the various elements and stages of creating a print, as well as the technique of printing on a machine.

The linocut technique imitates the ancient method of printing from wooden boards – woodcut. Linocut prints well not only on paper, but also on fabric, so the participants of the event learned that the print can be applied, for example, to a T-shirt, creating your own unique design.

Artist Tetiana Kuhai works in the field of book illustration, design, graphics, easel and monumental painting. She combines graphic and painting techniques in search of means of artistic expression in various genres of art: landscape, still life, portrait, figurative composition. The artist's works have been exhibited in over 70 art exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad.
