For students of the educational programs “Environmental Engineering” and “Chemical Technologies and Engineering”, a public lecture by Professor Gintaras Denafas of Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) on the topic “Challenges and experiences in the field of materials recovering from multilayer composite waste” took place on November 25, 2025. The lecture was held within the framework of the implementation of the Cooperation Agreement between KNUTD and Kaunas University of Technology.
The Head of the Department of Chemical Technologies and Resource Saving, Professor Viktoria Plavan, acted as the moderator of the event. Prof. Plavan acquainted students and teachers with the areas of implementation of the Cooperation Agreement between KNUTD and Kaunas University of Technology, focusing the attention of those present on the fact that the lecture by the guest expert from KTU was taking place for the second time.
Despite constant shelling and air raids, some students attended the session in person at the Youth Business Center, while others joined online. At the end of the event, students asked questions, and the guest expert provided comprehensive answers.
We express our sincere appreciation to Prof. Denafas for the insightful lecture and look forward to continued cooperation!
