On November 27, 2025, as part of the project "SusWearTex: Baltic Neighbourhood Cooperation in Sustainable Workwear Initiatives - Driving Recycled Fiber Excellence in Workwear Textiles" a meeting was held with Tetiana Pushkarova, Development Manager of the company Re:inventex. Re:inventex is a leader in sustainable development in textile production and waste-free use of textile resources.



The event was moderated by Liudmyla Melnyk, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Art and Fashion Design, Coordinator of the SusWearTex project. Students of the Department of Art and Fashion Design, postgraduate students of the Design Faculty, teachers of the Department of Art and Fashion Design, as well as executors of the SusWearTex scientific project took an active part in the seminar. At the beginning of the event, Liudmyla Melnyk presented the main stages and goals of the project "SusWearTex: Baltic Neighbourhood Cooperation in Sustainable Workwear Initiatives - Driving Recycled Fiber Excellence in Workwear Textiles".


Tetiana Pushkarova shared her own experience in the fashion industry and the possibilities of combining craftsmanship with modern principles of sustainable development, presenting fashion through the prism of responsible design and circular economy. The speaker introduced the requirements for eco-design, directions of textile processing, the main legislative acts aimed at preventing the formation of textile waste, expanding the manufacturer's responsibility for products throughout their life cycle, and emphasized the importance of the design stage of textile products for their further recycling.
