On November 26, 2025, the Department of Performing Arts and Culture at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design hosted an open lesson on acting and stage speech with the participation of first-year students (group BSM1-25) majoring in B6 Performing Arts. The event took place in the creative space, the Koryfei workshop (auditorium 1-0187).

First-year students demonstrated the results of their work on the basic elements of stage training. The main emphasis was placed on plastic expressiveness (the performers presented etudes that effectively used the body, space, and minimalist props to convey emotions, inner states, and the dynamics of interaction); stage movement and ensemble (compositions were shown that required synchronisation, interaction and understanding of collective rhythm); stage speech (although visual elements predominated, the exercise was aimed at developing physical freedom and emotional openness, which is the foundation for further work with artistic speech).

The open lesson allowed students to perform in front of a large audience for the first time and gain direct experience of stage work. This is an important stage in their professional development, fostering stage presence, physical discipline, and creative thinking.
The students were prepared for the open lesson by the artistic director, senior lecturer of the department (subject “The Art of Theater and Film Acting”) V.A. Kino and lecturer of the department (subject “Stage Speech”) Daniil Vitalievich Kino. Their work emphasized the importance of developing plastic culture and physical training as an integral part of studying the specialty B6 “Performing Arts” at KNUTD.
