INTRODUCTION TO THE WORLD OF MARKETING: CAREER GUIDANCE MEETINGS OF TEACHERS OF THE MARKETING DEPARTMENT WITH YOUTH OF SENIOR CLASSES

During November, teachers of the Marketing Department actively held career guidance events for students of lyceums and secondary schools, popularizing the specialty D5 "Marketing" and the educational and professional programs "Marketing" and "Digital Marketing" of the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design.

During career guidance meetings with students of Lyceum No. 214 of the Obolonsky district of Kyiv, School of I–III Degrees No. 294 of the Desnyansky district of Kyiv, and Lyceum No. 47 of the Shevchenkivsky district of Kyiv, the lecturer of the Department of Marketing, Pavlo Dmytrovych Shevchuk emphasized that training in the marketing programs of KNUTD combines fundamental theoretical training with practical projects, work on real business cases, and team interaction.

Pavlo Dmytrovych also demonstrated examples of successful Ukrainian brand communications and focused on the skills that are most in demand on the labor market today. High school students were actively interested in the specifics of the work of a marketer, digital direction, modern marketing tools, creating advertising campaigns, conditions for entering KNUTD, and future employment opportunities.

The interactive format of the meetings, open dialogue and friendly atmosphere contributed to the fact that the students were able to better understand the advantages of the profession of a marketer and see marketing as a creative, dynamic and promising field of activity.

During career guidance meetings with students of Academic Lyceum No. 3 of the Obukhiv City Council, Academic Lyceum No. 5 of the Obukhiv City Council, Academic Lyceum No. 1 named after A.S. Malyshko and Academic Lyceum named after Volodymyr Melnyk, the lecturer of the Marketing Department, Gorodetsky Yuriy Dmytrovych, introduced high school students to modern trends in the field of marketing communications, digital promotion tools and work with target audiences.

The meetings were held in the format of an open dialogue: students actively asked questions about the conditions of admission, the possibilities of combining study and work, participation in internships and international academic exchanges, showing sincere interest in further deepening their knowledge in the field of marketing. During the conversation, Yuriy Dmytrovych demonstrated the practical importance of marketing in the modern business environment he focused on digital competencies. Students learned about working with social networks, content marketing, targeted advertising, online campaign analytics and prospects for professional development in the field of digital marketing. The lively format of communication helped high school students form a holistic idea of the marketing profession and see it as a modern, creative, technological and promising field that combines economics, analytics, creativity and communications. Such career guidance meetings not only form the interest of young people in modern and in-demand marketing professions but also contribute to a conscious choice of the future educational trajectory.
