On 27 November 2025, representatives of the Department of Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant Business of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design took part in the International Educational Networking “Practice-oriented training of specialists in the field of knowledge J ‘Transport and Services’: realities and challenges”.

Doctor of Sciences (Economics), Professor, Head of the Department of Tourism, Hotel, and Restaurant Business, and member of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance of Ukraine, Olena Sushchenko, delivered a presentation on the specific features of post-accreditation monitoring of study programs. In her speech, she focused on the current approaches to assessing the quality of education, the importance of systematically collecting feedback from stakeholders, and the role of internal quality assurance systems in the sustainable development of study programs.

Olena Ahmedova, Doctor of Sciences (Public Administration), Professor of the Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant Business Department at KNUTD, guarantor of the Bachelor’s study program “Hotel and Restaurant Business” in the field of knowledge J “Transport and Services”, speciality J2 “Hotel and Restaurant Business and Catering”, presented this program project. The presentation highlighted the practice-oriented content of the program, emphasised the use of modern information technologies, the integration of real hospitality industry cases, and the strengthening of cooperation with employers. The study program sparked lively discussion and professional debate.

The International Educational Networking served as a platform for the exchange of experience between Ukrainian and international scholars and practitioners, for discussing current challenges in training specialists for the hospitality and tourism sector, and for outlining further directions for improving study programs in the context of European quality standards.
