The Department of Performing Arts and Culture at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design continues to support talented young people and organize important educational initiatives!

Recently, a creative meeting with Professor L.M. Somov of the Department of SMK took place on the Small Stage of the Mukachevo Drama Theater. Participants of the theater studio “Likharyk” (Mukachevo School of Arts named after Stepan Marton) had a unique opportunity to take part in an intensive workshop on acting skills. The meeting was devoted to the key aspects of an actor's work: stage speech and plasticity; emotional sincerity; improvisation and live contact with a partner and the audience. Mastering these skills demonstrated to young artists the importance of genuine feelings on stage, control of the body and voice as the main creative tools. Participants were also offered effective exercises for unlocking inner freedom and professional growth.

This regular meeting made a valuable contribution to the professional development of young talents, who received a powerful boost of inspiration and practical knowledge, as well as strengthening the educational function of the Department of Performing Arts and Culture at KNUTD!
