On December 2, 2025, lecturers from the Department of Fashion Technology at the Faculty of Arts and Fashion of the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design made a career guidance visit to secondary schools in Cherkasy. The university delegation visited schools № 3, № 17, and № 11, where they met with 10th and 11th grade students. In total, about 200 schoolchildren interested in choosing a future profession and opportunities for admission to KNUTD took part in the events.
The delegation was headed by Olha Haranina, Head of the Department of Fashion Technology, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor. The team included Nataliia Pervaia, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor; Oksana Vodzinska, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor; Larysa Rzhavicheva, Head of the Department Laboratories.
During meetings with students, teaching staff, and administrators of educational institutions, KNUTD professors gave career guidance lectures and informative presentations. In a warm and inspiring atmosphere, high school students learned about the advantages of studying at KNUTD, the structure of the university, majors, admission requirements, and career prospects.

Associate Professor of Fashion Technology Oksana Vodzinska spoke in detail about the educational opportunities offered by the Faculty of Arts and Fashion, unique specialties, features of the educational process, and employment prospects for graduates, particularly in light industry.

Of particular interest was the presentation by Nataliia Pervaia, who spoke about the University's international cooperation and the relevance of educational programs in the global labor market.

The students were given a unique presentation on the role and importance of light industry in the development of the Ukrainian economy. The lecturers emphasized that light industry is one of the strategic sectors of post-war recovery, as it creates jobs, develops competitive products, and strengthens the Ukrainian brand on the world stage. That is why the industry needs creative, educated, patriotic specialists who are ready to develop their own country.
Schoolchildren were also presented with a 95-year history of KNUTD, one of Ukraine's most prestigious higher education institutions, which combines tradition and innovation and trains specialists for all sectors of light industry. Students actively asked questions about admission requirements, educational programs, internships at enterprises, and future employment opportunities.
As a demonstration of gratitude and partnership, the heads of educational institutions were presented with a commemorative edition dedicated to the 95th anniversary of KNUTD.

Such career guidance events are an important part of the educational mission of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, aimed at developing Ukraine's professional human resources, supporting young people in choosing their future profession, and promoting the revival of the country's manufacturing sector.
