WORKSHOP: "ACADEMIC MOBILITY – OPPORTUNITIES FOR HIGHER EDUCATION STUDENTS"

On December 16, 2025, the Office of International and Project Activities held an online workshop titled "Academic Mobility – Opportunities for Higher Education Students". The event aimed to familiarize students and postgraduate researchers with opportunities for studying, internships, and international exchange within academic mobility programs.

The event was attended by higher education students from the following structural units of the university: the Faculty of Design, the Faculty of Arts and Fashion, the Faculty of Chemical and Biopharmaceutical Technologies, the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies, the Faculty of Economics and Management, as well as the Faculty of Culture and Creative Industries.

The event was moderated by the Director of the Office of International and Project Activities – Viktoriia Margasova.

During the workshop, Viktoriia Margasova thoroughly covered all key aspects of academic mobility – from participation opportunities and selection criteria to practical steps for preparing documents, features of studying at partner universities, and the recognition of academic results obtained through international exchange program

Natalia Fastovets, a specialist from the Office of International and Project Activities, presented practical cases and explanations. She focused on the applied aspects of participating in academic mobility programs, provided step-by-step recommendations for preparing the document package, completing applications and motivation letters, and also outlined common mistakes to avoid during the preparation for the selection process.

Participants of academic mobility programs Tetiana Sinkevych, Inna Bundiuk, and Alina Kulbachna shared their personal experiences of taking part in academic mobility programs.

They spoke about the nuances of preparing documents for the selection process, highlighted the specifics of studying at partner universities, and discussed the opportunities that international academic experience can offer.

The event speakers answered students’ questions and dispelled common myths that often hinder the application process.

These included fears related to language barriers, the complexity of the document preparation process for the selection stage, and concerns about the possibility of combining studies within mobility projects with ongoing studies at KNUTD.

We invite all interested higher education students to join academic mobility programs and take advantage of study and internship opportunities at partner universities. Current offers are regularly posted and updated on the KNUTD Office of International and Project Activities webpage in the "Exchange and Mobility Programs" → "Academic Mobility for Higher Education Students" section.

We recommend regularly monitoring updates and actively applying for programs that open up new educational and professional opportunities.

Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design continues to expand opportunities for the professional and personal development of higher education students and supports their integration into the international educational and scientific community.
