During the first semester of the 2025-2026 academic year, the Faculty of Design carried out active work to attract applicants to educational programs in the specialty "Design". Meetings with applicants were held, visits to schools and lyceums were held, online consultations were held, effective popularization of education at KNUTD was organized on social networks, enrollment for preparatory courses for the creative competition was opened, etc.

On November 22, 2025, an online meeting with applicants was held as part of the "Open Day of the Faculty of Design". Representatives of the faculty's admissions committee told the applicants about the features of admission to creative specialties, introduced them to the programs of creative competitions for admission to the educational programs of the faculty at the bachelor's level: "Multimedia Design", "Graphic Design", "Fashion Design", "Environmental Design" and at the master's level: "Design (on types)", "Fashion Design", "Environmental Design".

A bright career guidance event was the OPEN DAY of KNUTD, organized on November 30, 2025 by the KNUTD marketing communications department. The event brought together applicants, their parents, and successful graduates of KNUTD, who shared the stories of their own professional development.

Entrants and their parents had the opportunity to talk with faculty representatives and get answers to their questions.

On December 19, 2025, the Open Day of the Faculty of Design was held in an online format. Representatives of the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Design - Dean Kalyna Pashkevych, Deputy Deans Olena Gerasymenko, Liudmyla Melnyk, Heads of Departments Nataliia Chuprina, Olena Vasylieva, Danylo Kosenko, Liliia Zhuravel-Zmieieva spoke about the educational programs of the faculty, the conditions of study at KNUTD, and answered questions.

Lecturers of the design department of KNUTD Oleksandr Vasyliev, Marharyta Ivanova, Natalia Ryshkevych, Sviatoslav Podlevsky, Anton Kobrynets and others visited schools and lyceums of Kyiv, Obukhiv, and Boryspil as part of career guidance events organized by the marketing communications department of KNUTD.
