The implementation of the ERASMUS-EDU-2024-CB-VET project “Innovation in Smart and Digital VET Skills for Advanced Textile Industry” (InnovaTex) continues by scientists of the Faculty of Design. The goal of the InnovaTex project is to integrate advanced European technologies of the modern textile industry and the principles of digital smart textiles into the educational process.
As part of the project, mobile workstations and programs Assyst and Style3D Studio (Germany) were purchased.
From January 5 to 9, 2026, scientists of the Faculty of Design Kalyna Pashkevych, Professor, Nataliia Chuprina, Professor, Olga Yezhova, Professor, Olena Gerasymenko, Associate Professor, Liudmyla Melnyk, Associate Professor, Maryna Yatsenko, Associate Professor, Nadiia Lyuklian, Assistant, Postgraduate Student, Anastasiai Yukhymchuk, Assistant, Postgraduate Student underwent training in the program Assyst.

R&D Director, Training Manager of INTELLTEX Iryna Daus conducted a training on the tools of work in the Assyst program and the stages of creating clothing designs.

During the training, teachers, executors of the InnovaTex project, studied tools for designing and modeling clothing parts, got acquainted with the rules of pattern gradation in the Assyst program and the formation of pattern layouts, with program modules and databases.

The acquired knowledge will help scientists develop and implement new innovative vocational education programs to develop key competencies and digital/environmental skills related to the development of personal protective equipment and digitization of textiles in 3D programs.
