PRACTICE ORIENTED DIMENSION OF MARKETING EDUCATION: PARTICIPATION OF D5 MARKETING STUDENTS IN THE IDS UKRAINE MASTER CLASS

On February 12, 2026, students majoring in D5 Marketing took part in the second master class organized by the Organizing Committee of the 20th Ukrainian Student Advertising Festival. The event became an important component of the practice-oriented training of future marketing professionals, as it enabled students to combine academic knowledge with the real-world experience of a leading Ukrainian company.

The master class was co-organized by IDS Ukraine, one of the leaders of the national market for natural mineral waters and water delivery services. The company’s portfolio includes well-known brands such as “Morshynska,” “Myrohordska,” “Alaska,” and IDS Aqua Service.

The speakers of the event were Kateryna Pryshchepova, Head of Marketing and Customer Service at IDS AQUA SERVICE, and Iryna Melnyk, PR Manager at IDS Ukraine. Emphasis in the presentation was placed on the concept of customer-centricity, according to which the company goes beyond simply supplying a product and instead creates a comprehensive service ecosystem that ensures convenience, reliability, digital interaction, and a high level of customer service.

A significant part of the presentation was devoted to analyzing the company’s operations under martial law conditions. The speakers openly discussed the challenges related to disruptions in logistics chains, security risks, changes in consumer behavior, and the need for rapid adaptation of business processes. At the same time, they demonstrated examples of strategic flexibility, crisis management, and responsible communication with customers. In this context, marketing is presented not merely as a tool for product promotion, but as a system-forming function of the enterprise that ensures brand resilience, maintains trust, and preserves competitive positions in the market.

The students actively asked questions about building marketing strategies, specifics of customer service, development of digital communication channels, and career growth prospects in marketing. All questions were answered thoroughly and substantively, enabling participants to gain a deeper understanding of the real mechanisms of modern business operations. Participation in the master class became a valuable experience for the students, contributing to the development of analytical thinking, the formation of professional competencies, and a better understanding of the practical aspects of implementing marketing strategies in complex socio-economic conditions.

We sincerely thank Yevhen Romat, Head of the Union of Advertisers of Ukraine, as well as the speakers Kateryna Pryshchepova and Iryna Melnyk for their comprehensive, engaging, and informative presentation, which demonstrated a high level of professionalism and made a significant contribution to the training of future marketing specialists.
