Modern education is not just about knowledge; it is about responsibility for the future of our planet!
On February 19, representatives of the Faculty of Culture and Creative Industries of KNUTD joined the discussion of global trends. The guarantor of the "Cultural Studies" educational program and the representative of the Department of Performing Arts and Culture, Daryna Cherniak, attended an open lecture by Olesia Datsko – a prominent public figure and expert in strategic communications.
The lecture focused on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) formulated by the United Nations and their impact on educational and project activities. The insights gained are of strategic importance for the development of the "Cultural Studies" program, specifically in: Integrating Sustainable Development principles into the curriculum and accreditation indicators; Social responsibility of cultural initiatives and their alignment with environmental and ethical standards; Grant writing: methodology for incorporating SDG indicators into project proposals, which is crucial for securing international support.

For our students, these insights will serve as a foundation during their production internships. The ability to articulate social impact, inclusivity, and partnership directly correlates with the requirements of modern donors and international institutions. The department’s active participation in such events underscores our commitment to aligning educational programs with international excellence.
Staying ahead of the times, creating high-quality and conscious education together!
