On February 16, 2026, the Department of Economics held a public presentation of the scientific results of the dissertation by V. Synytsia on the topic «Creative Industries and Their Impact on the Economic Development of Ukraine» in the specialty 051 Economics, research supervisor Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor S. Bondarenko.

In order to provide an opinion on the scientific novelty, theoretical and practical significance of the results of the dissertation by V. Sinitsa, the main provisions of the dissertation research were heard, discussed, and clarifying questions were asked to the PhD student.

Vizhutkin, a 4th-year PhD student in the specialty 051 Economics on the topic «Organizational and economic tools for overcoming property inequality in the context of sustainable development», research supervisor Doctor of Economics, Prof. A. Zolkоver.

In order to provide an opinion on the scientific novelty, theoretical and practical significance of the results of Vizhutkin A. dissertation, the main provisions of the dissertation were heard, a public discussion was held at a department meeting, and questions were asked of the PhD student.

Vizhutkin, a 4th-year PhD student in the specialty 051 Economics, on the topic «Socio-economic mechanisms of urbanization in a digital society», research supervisor Doctor of Economics, Prof. A. Zolkover.

Vizhutkin D. presented the main results of his work, emphasizing the development of urbanization in the context of its interrelations with the digital society.

The scientific supervisor of the PhD student, Doctor of Economics, Prof. Zolkover A., noted that the work was done on a relevant topic, all questions were answered clearly, which shows the high level of training of the PhD student Vizhutkin D.

On February 25, 2026, the Department of Economics held a public presentation of the research results of the dissertation of 4th-year PhD student A. Kogut on the topic «Innovative restoration of the agro-industrial sector of Ukraine based on smart specialization», research supervisor Doctor of Economics, Prof. Z. Shatska, in the specialty 051 Economics.

Members of the department took part in the cathedral seminar, asking questions to the PhD student and participating in the discussion of the results of Kogut A.’s dissertation.

Scientific supervisor, Doctor of Economics, Prof. Shatska Z. noted that the work has high scientific and practical value, and that the PhD student worked fruitfully throughout the entire period.

On February 25, 2026, the Department of Economics held another public presentation of the research results of the dissertation of 4th-year PhD student M. Sattarov on the topic «Strategy for the Formation and Innovative Development of Integrated Business Structures in the Context of Digitalization», research supervisor Doctor of Philosophy Melnyk L. in the specialty 051 Economics.

PhD student Sattarov M. reported on the progress of his dissertation research and answered questions from members of the departmental seminar.

Colleagues took part in discussing the results of Sattarov M.’s dissertation research and recommended that he speed up work on his dissertation and pay attention to the necessary publications highlighting the main results of the research. PhD supervisor L. Melnyk supported the PhD student and emphasized the importance and relevance of his research topic.
