INTERNATIONAL CULTURAL COOPERATION: NEW HORIZONS FOR KNUTD

During the first days of spring, representatives from the Department of Performing Arts and Culture at KNUTD – Head of the Department, Associate Professor Vira BURNAZOVA, and Associate Professor Vladyslav BERKOVSKYI – participated in an intensive workshop dedicated to the preparation of international cultural projects.

It was two days of maximum knowledge concentration: 90 participants from all over Ukraine, over 10 hours of in-depth analysis of the EU "Creative Europe" program, and a detailed breakdown of the mechanisms for creating successful grant applications.

Why is this important for the Department of Performing Arts and Culture?

We gained access to unique case studies accumulated over years. This knowledge is ready to be integrated into the university's educational process and project activities.

The workshop brought together specialists from across the country. Working in groups on ideas for the "European Cooperation Projects" competition allowed us to view familiar processes from a new perspective and identify potential partners for future initiatives.

It has become clear that combining a scientific approach with European management opens new doors for cultural diplomacy. This is a path toward actualizing national identity within the space of intercultural dialogue, where Ukrainian performing arts can resonate in a modern and professional way.

The atmosphere of openness and the organizers' sincere desire to share every nuance of project preparation were especially valuable. We are grateful to the organizers for this powerful boost! We are confident that the knowledge gained will become the foundation for new successful cases for the Department of Performing Arts and Culture and the entirety of KNUTD.
