On March 26, 2026, academic staff and postgraduate students of the Faculty of Design of the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design took part in the scientific and practical seminar “Modern Educational Tools and Technologies: Practical Experience of Integration into the Educational Process.” The event was held online within the framework of the XVII International exhibition “Modern Educational Establishments,” which took place on March 25–27, 2026.

The exhibition was organized by the Company “Exhibitions World” with the support and participation of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine and the State Scientific Institution «Institute of education content modernization».

Among the participants from KNUTD were: Kalyna Pashkevych, Dean of the Faculty of Design, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor; Nataliia Chuprina, Head of the Department of Art and Fashion Design, Doctor of Study of Art, Professor; Olha Yezhova, Professor of the Department of Graphic Design, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences; Liliia Zhuravel-Zmieieva, Head of the Department of Graphic Design, PhD; Olena Vasylieva, Head of the Department of Multimedia Design, Candidate of Technical Sciences; Olena Gerasymenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Art and Fashion Design, PhD as well as other academic staff and postgraduate students of the Faculty of Design.

Within the seminar, presentations were delivered by leading scholars of the State Scientific Institution «Institute of education content modernization»: Halyna Kolomoiets, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Deputy Director; Olena Udalova, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Senior Researcher of the Department for Scientific and Methodological Support of Education Quality Improvement; Tetiana Malechko, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department for Scientific and Methodological Support of Education Quality Improvement; and other researchers and educators.

During the event, key issues of modern education development were discussed, including new approaches to the use of digital tools and artificial intelligence in the educational process; the development of professional competencies of educators under conditions of innovative change; as well as the experience and challenges of implementing innovative educational technologies and teaching methods.

The participation of the KNUTD Faculty of Design academic staff in the seminar contributed to familiarization with contemporary educational practices, exchange of experience with colleagues, and the implementation of innovative approaches in the training of future designers. The knowledge and insights gained will be used to enhance the quality of educational programs, particularly considering the specifics of design education, which requires the integration of creative methodologies with modern digital tools.
