15 September 2009 our university received guests from Fachhochschule Kaiserslautern („University of Applied Sciences“), Germany, namely:
That was the first visit of highly respected representative of friendly university in Germany. During the visit our guests met with prof. O. Volkov, Rector of our university, prof. I. Panasyuk, Prorector, and representatives of university faculties. Professors Peetz and Lavrov have given a detailed account of German higher education system and peculiarities of technical education in their university. Directions of prospective cooperation in fields of education and research were considered. For instance, prospective exchange of students and teachers was discussed, and possibilities for PhD-students to defend theses on the basis of both universities were considered.
