March 3, 2015 in Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design held a joint seminar presentation "Kyiv Initiative. Innovation for Business". Organized by the Kyiv City State Administration, Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, the Presidium of the board of directors of enterprises, institutions and organizations of Kyiv, Ukrainian Association of Light Industry.

Before the seminar guests toured the exhibition of achievements of the university. Particular attention was attracted by developments in the field of military and special clothing, footwear and equipment.

At the beginning of the seminar rector of the University Ivan Gryshchenko greeted all guests with a welcome speech.

During the workshop, speakers discussed the prospects of cooperation of education, public and private sector.

By the results of the workshop a Protocol of Intent was signed. The state sector was represented by Deputy Head of Kyiv City State Administration Petr Panteleyev, business - Director of "Chinbar" company Viktor Lishchuk, education and science - Rector of the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design Ivan Gryshchenko.

After the official part guests toured the production facilities of the University, and saw firsthand the collections of shoes and accessories created by students of the University.

In conclusion guests visited the express atelier, which was established with the support of "Volodarka" company.
